In almost 10 years ISV Tigers Stegersbach, developed from a hobby team to a fixed size in Inline-Skaterhockey in Austria and as host for European Championchips.
Founded in 1997 the Tigers started with aggressive skating on an old asphalt court which later was transformed in a hockey rink, where the euphoria for hockey began.
1998 the Tigers Stegersbach started their first season in the championschip ÖRSV (Austrian Skate and Inline Skating Association) and already had a home ground (Tigers Cage).
After such proven record of success the new arena was build in summer of 2006, which was the first step towards hosting national and international top events.
This was followed by the courageous step to the overall financing of the roof of the new „Tigers Cage“, which made it possible to host the IISHF Men's European Championchip in 2008. After that in 2009 Stegersbach hosted the IISHF Ladies and Junior Championchip, in 2011 the Men's European Championchip and in 2014 again the Junior Championchip.
After the participation of our U13 Team at the U13 European Cup 2019 in Kaarst/Germany, this is the second time overall for any youth team of Stegersbach and the first time for the U16 Team to participate at the highest level of Inline Skaterhockey in Europe.
